Curtains in Wapda Town Lahore, Measured and Fitted by Our Team

Curtains measured, stitched and fitted in every block

We make curtains in Wapda Town Lahore to the size of your windows and hang them ourselves. Our team visits, measures the width and length of each window, stitches every panel to those numbers and comes back to fit the set on your rods.

The society lies south of Johar Town and is laid out in two phases, with blocks such as D, E, F, G, H, J and K in Phase I and M, N, P and Q in Phase II, according to its Wikipedia entry. Houses built in different years sit side by side, so one street can have original windows next to rebuilt fronts with much larger glass.

Original houses and rebuilt houses need different sets

In an older house with standard windows, a two panel velvet set is usually enough. Laser cut and monogram designs both hang from stainless steel eyelet rings on a single round rod. In a rebuilt house with a wide lounge window or glass doors to the lawn, the four piece set gives better cover: two velvet panels in front and two white chiffon panels behind for daylight. That set needs two rods or a double bracket.

Either way, we check the rod during the measuring visit. A thick rod will not pass through a standard eyelet ring, and older houses may still have tracks or hook rails that eyelet curtains cannot hang on.

Winter warmth and summer shade

Velvet is a heavy cloth, which makes it a sensible choice for bedrooms. Drawn at night in December and January, it keeps cold air off the glass, and drawn in the afternoon in May and June, it keeps out the sun. A medium colour such as beige, grey or soft gold shows less fading than a pale shade on a sunny window. Browse the colours on our fancy curtains page.

Ordering, measuring and fitting

Book a visit on WhatsApp at 0324 492 4274 and tell us your block. We measure each window, confirm the design and panel count, and a 50 percent advance starts stitching. When the set is ready, we bring it and fit it. The fitting date and any charges are agreed on WhatsApp before work starts. Read our curtain designs guide if you want to understand width and drop before we visit.

Common questions

Do you cover both phases?

Yes. We measure and fit in all blocks of Phase I and Phase II. Share your block on WhatsApp when you book.

Are velvet curtains too heavy for summer?

No. Drawn in the afternoon, velvet blocks heat from the window. With a four piece set, you can keep only the chiffon closed in the morning for light.

Can you fit curtains where I have old tracks?

Not on the tracks. Eyelet curtains need a round rod, so the tracks would need replacing. We check this when we come to measure.
